i wanna change a new banner but cant seems to do up any that im satisfied with. i shall just leave it as that now. perhaps when i have more inspirations, then i'll do up a new one. however, animation still seems to be the best right? at least its not so boring.
anyway, grandmother is discharged yesterday afternoon! yay! i know she'll be fine cus she's my grandmother! :D all of us believed that she's strong, strong enough to overcome any hurdles. :)
im kinda stressed up at work cus boss keeps talking to me, trying to find out more things about this workplace through me. she said she loves alice and me the most cus we work the hardest over there. oh please, i rather she dont love me cus it means that she will have extra work for me to do. ever since she came, there's so much changes at work. its freeling's last day yesterday. even thou she's not so much of a good colleague but she's a good friend. she's everybody's good friend. we'll all miss her.
on a side note, i hate my hair now. time for a hairdo and time to cut bangs! time, where do i find time to do that? maybe next week. :)

my poor grandmother
went back to work today and gosh, i realized im still quite weak cus i've got no strength to shout at my kids. auntie told me my kids missed me! its so heartwarming to hear that. :D
anyway, decided to drop by the hospital after work to visit my grandmother. didnt managed to go last night cus its like really late after mom knocked off from work.
she had this big bruise on her left side of her face and it really pains me to see her like this. she cant really move, so all she can do is to lie down on the bed all day long. its like she needs somebody to help her in whatever she do. luckily she has my aunt who's 24/7 there with her ever since she was warded in. sighs. old people really cannot afford to even have a slight trip or fall cus the consequences to bear will be much more than you can imagine.
waited for her to finish her dinner and i only left after she fell asleep. after i left, i was suddenly overwhelmed by the rush of emotions. just a few weeks back, she was still at my house walking around, sitting around on my bed, talking to me, laughing and sharing with me her lifelong experiences. and now? she's lying down on the bed in the hospital, hardly able to move. i was speechless for a moment cus i never thought that my grandmother would be lying down in the hospital one day.
even thou i hate to admit this, but my grandmother is indeed old. looking at her just reminds me of the days when she took care of me when i was still a lil girl, probably all the way from kindergarten days till my primary school days. 10 over years with her, thats how i grew to be so close with her.
but wells, looking on the bright side, she still looks fine on the whole. i hope she'll be discharged soon.

fell sick over the weekend
i didnt had a good weekend cus i fell sick on saturday, woke up feeling terribly sick all over my body. called baby and he came over to see me. initially planned to see the doctor at 6pm but lil did we know that the clinic was closed on saturday. we went over to guardian to buy panadol. after that, baby packed dinner back to my house and had dinner with me. he refused to let me eat the supposedly-to-be lunch mom prepared for me cus he thinks that its not fresh or something. so, he went downstairs to buy porridge back for me. i didnt finish it cus i find that its too salty.
popped 2 pills down after dinner and went to sleep after that. baby went home after i went to bed. i thought i felt better in the middle of the night, so i woke up and popped another 2 pills down hoping that i'll get better the next day. but, i woke up on sunday, not feeling any better but felt worse. called baby and he said he's coming over to bring me to the doctor. i felt so sick that i thought i was dying. brother decided to call up the clinic and went down to take the queue number for me. i went down and waited while baby reached. doctor said i've got a high fever as high as 39degrees and gave me 2 days mc. after that, baby walked me home before he went home.
without hesitation, took my medicine and plunged into bed straight. the pills work wonders. i felt so much more better when i woke up at night for dinner. ever since then, my fever subsided and im getting better.
baby bought dinner and came up to my house after work yesterday. watched television and my parents offered him dinner but he chose to buy dinner back cus he felt paiseh to have dinner at my house. he went home after that.
im still on mc today. a good thing, cus i still feel a bit dizzy here and there. i was wondering was it the aftermath of the high fever? cus everytime after my high fever, i'll tend to feel dizzy for sometime. hopefully, by tomorrow i'll be all well cus im going back to work.

3rd weekend at baby's place
holidays usually pass the fastest. i spent my time at baby's place again for the 3rd time in 3 weeks.
baby and i went to tampines on saturday. wells, the main purpose was to visit the newly opened tampines one. seriously, tampines is fantastic. they have all sorts of things over there lors! so many varieties of everything, from food to clothing to accessories. if im a resident there, i probably wont be visiting town much anymore unless meet ups with friends at a more convenient location. baby wanna buy the clothing from uni glo so we'll be back. (:
after that, back to yishun and caught a movie, 'knowing'. my goodness, the show was boring. i personally think that these kinda end-of-the-world genres are boring to the max and at the same time, meaningless. after our late night show, back to his house to turn in for the night. back home on sunday!
anyway, whats the most embarrassing thing that you think could happen to you? for me, as up till this date, will be coincidental meetings with my students or their parents on the streets. seriously, teachers have no life!! can you imagine how embarrassing it gets when they saw you at a shopping mall dressing very casually (top plus shorts that kinda thing)? and then they'll look at you when the kids shout your name out loud that kinda thing? OMG. please. i always tend to wanna hide myself when i saw them outside.
its week 4 now! 6 more weeks to the june holidays! :D

good friday!
weehee! its the good friday public holiday tomorrow! im so happie cus i only worked 4 days this week.
anyway, did i ever mention that online shopping is addictive? im so hooked to it and my new parcel just arrived last night, bought a new flowery top! :)
worked for MPS on monday and im so glad that there's not much people compared to the last time i went last year. as usual, citizens asking for help for all sorts of problems even stupidly minor ones like complaining about loud and noisy neighbours in the middle of the night. i almost rolled my eyes at the middle-aged couple when they told me. =X oh please, such problems you could have just called up the police and they will go up to your house and settle it for you. what can the MP do for you? probably call the police for you? zZz.
i have 2 new students joining my class this week. hate it when there's new intake cus they'll disrupt my class, in a way... like slowing my class' pace down or something.

another night spent at baby's place
i spent my saturday night over at baby's place again. wells, consecutively for 2 weekends now and baby wanted me to go over again this coming weekend. LOL. i guess he's starting to get used to me sleeping beside him every weekend now. :)
went to bugis first before we headed back to yishun. watched a midnight show, shinjuku incident then back to his house to rest. the show is fabulous! woke up in the noon and baby sent me to the bus stop. its raining so heavily on the way home and the road was flooded with water. i swear if the rain was any heavier, there'll be floods all around this island.
back home, mom prepared lunch for me and i just lazed around at home till now. im missing my baby now... i gotta work for MPS tomorrow. damn it. its a yearly affair and i dont have a choice, cus im working for the PAP. boohoo, i hate working for the MPS.
wells, the only one consolation i have is friday is a public holiday! :D
