stayed over at baby's place

popo and san yi came to my house on saturday cus san yi wanted to go over to old popo house to tidy and clean up her house. i cant help but think that my old popo was so cute. she talked to me about so much things, from her olden days when she gave birth to all her children to their individual love stories. LOL. and even thou she kept repeating to me about the world war II that she experienced, i still never get sick of hearing them cus i just enjoy hearing my old popo telling her old grandmother stories. i love her so much!

i stayed over at baby's place on saturday too. first of all, we headed down to bugis to alter the newly bought bracelet for him. then we decided to go over to the newly built shopping mall, iluma. due to the superbly cheap movie tickets promotion from film grade, we decided to catch a movie there, 12 rounds. its an action movie, exciting and interesting. however, the cinema is not that comfortable and my body seriously ached from the 2 hours long of seating straight up without much free space to move. i still prefer cathay.

after movie, took bus back to yishun. bought some snacks from cheers and walked back to baby's house. his parents were already going to bed by the time we got back. so, both of us rotted at the living room while watching tv till 1am when my eyes were closing. back to his room and slept all the way to afternoon. got up, bathed, watched tv for awhile before we went north point. baby went to cut his hair and it looks so much better now after the last damage. home sweet home after dinner.

anyway, missed the annual visiting trip to mandai on sunday cus i stayed over at baby's house the previous night. but its okay, i still have one more chance to visit my old ah gong in june. so, jason kor kor finally passed me the cd with my overdued pictures from my birthday bash.

new boss new changes

did i mention that my new boss reported to work officially on this monday? so on monday, she summoned me in for a talk. basically, she told me whats her expectations and so on. apparently, she knows EVERYTHING about all of us down there and i dont need to say much about myself cus she knows everything about me. she even told me i can lunch with her if i dont have a lunch partner. imagine the scene that im lunching with my boss. i seriously cant imagine that. after our conversation, i got this strong feeling that she's favouring me, not too be too arrogant, but somehow bernice feel this way too. okay, we both feel that maybe its cus she feels that im young enough to be brainwashed. you know, politics.

all i can say is she's totally different from mrs leong and i can forsee new changes coming in soon. so yesterday afternoon, there's this eco-saving energy event and the MP was attending so guess what? she arranged for alice's and my class to go for the event. omg. the whole thing was a mess and its seriously a waste of time. i rather spend the time with my class in school teaching them.

met baby at yishun after work today. the heart-shaped pendent on my bracelet came out so went up to baby's house for awhile for him to fix it for me. after that, we had our dinner at KFC and baby sorta psycho-ed me to watch a horror show, the unborn. damn it. i hate to watch horror shows! its utterly disturbing for me! to me, all horror shows are equally scary so if you like horror shows, please go and watch all of them to give yourself some scares. took bus home after that and its tormenting cus i kept scaring myself on the way home.

my favourite bestie was so nice to me cus she accompanied me to get the agnes b limited edition star nylon red bag! i love the bag! im just so in love with the bag!!! the bag is my new love. HAHAS.

after getting the goddamn chio bag, we trained to town together for our late lunch at xin wang. on our way to cineleisure, we met this group of crazy angmohs and one of them actually hung this huge poster in front of his chest, stating 'free hugs'. they saw us and actually walked passed us with open arms, inviting us for hugs. i was telling bestie, "are they crazy or what? do they think that we're some cheap girls that go around hugging unknown people on the streets?" come on! we're still not as open minded as some other girls out there. we're good lil girls. :)

after xin wang, accompanied bestie to john little for some lingerie shopping. she bought 2 bras and i bought none. i've got too much lingerie at home and i cant even finish wearing them for 7 days. like what baby said, i can set up a lingerie shop if i continue to shop for more. LOL.

after john little, we walked to takashimaya to take a look at the longchamp bags cus bestie seems interested in getting that. after that, we went to bakerzin cus i wanted to get macarons. i bought it for my babyyy! :) then our last stop was the toilet! LOL. as usual, cam-whored.

then we took bus together but different destinations. she's off to meet her boyfriend and friends while im back home to meet baby. he offered to help my brother to install the router that he needs so he came up to my house. and you know, im seriously a technology idiot. be it computers, handphones or anything that has got to do with technology, im handicapped. LOL. so both of them were doing their stuffs while im talking on the phone with hui min.

after settling everything, baby stayed for dinner and he was so proud that he helped to install the router for my brother and he threatened me that he's able to reset everything with just one button. so childish right? LOL. he finished the macarons and im glad that he likes it. (: i only ate one piece and it tastes good.

after that, sent him downstairs. I LOVE MY BABYYY LOADS! :D and... i love my red bag too. :)

sisters day out 180309

met up with yvette today. she suddenly had this craving for steamboat so we headed down to bugis. then she brought me to this place thats air-conditioned for our steamboat. intially she wanted to bring me to another store but wells, when i heard the word, "non-airconditioned", i quickly chose the air-conditioned one for the weather is freaking hot and i dont wanna perspire like crazy while eating.



we spent 2 hours in that eatery, eating and chatting away. we're both so goddamn full please! i totally enjoyed eating steamboat! its so fun and so worth the money! :D

then we shopped around at bugis junction. i bought a new bracelet for baby cus as much as i dont feel like saying this but BABY LOST THE BRACELET THAT I BOUGHT FOR HIM AGAIN!!! can i know why are men so careless?

so after that, tried my luck at miss emily for high waist pants and i found it but guess what?! they dont have my size! damn it! its always like this! :( met stella and her friends too. saw her baby precious and she's so cute! :) stella asked me, "so how joanne? when is it your turn? (she's referring to having babies)" my goodness, how awkward can this get and i replied, "why is it me when its not even yvette's turn yet?" LOL.

after that, we both went our separate ways to meet our boyfriends. met baby at yishun. gave him the bracelet and he's happie! :D accompanied him for dinner at long john but i didnt eat anything thou cus i was still too full for anything. after dinner, we walked around and home sweet home! i love my babyyy!

its such a bliss.

i woke up real early today just cus of my course that im supposed to attend this morning. trained down to tanah merah and i met this bitch from the other branch of our constituency. unfortunately, she's needed to join us for group discussions and presentations, and damn, i totally hate working with her. she's so arrogant and aloof, like as if we owe her one million dollars or we caused her parents' deaths or something. Oops! i dont mean to be rude but seriously, i've never seen such stuck up peeps before! is it a big deal that you wear a pair of Dior specs or is it a big deal that you carry a Longchamp handbag? or perhaps you think yourself as someone so pretty, high and mighty that kinda thing?

so guess what i did? i was the writer and so, i chose not to take her points at all. whatever she said, i just rebound back with a "but i dont think this is needed..." wells, i can be mean if you are and i can be worse if you step on my tail. in her case, i think this is just nothing. wth is wrong with your attitude? we're all teachers and do you think it helps that you place yourself one level higher than the rest? maybe im too friendly and easy-going thats why we totally cant click but seriously, everyone else thought you should change your attitude. its no use having a pretty face and yet your personality freaks people out.

enough of this bitch talk. trained home together with freeling after school. replenished myself with my beauty sleep and by the time i opened my eyes, i realized i was late in meeting my baby. didnt wanna join in the traffic jam on the tortoise bus so i cabbed down to yishun instead.

baby bought me twilight and new moon! i was still contemplating whether to really get the books anot even thou half of me wanted them so much cus i wanna collect the series, but the other half of me said that its a waste of money to buy something that you want and not need. wells, in the end, baby still paid them for me at the cashier. oh yes! this man took some tongue twisters book and tried to test me with it, i read and read and before i knew it, i told him, "hey, its fun! i want more!" LOL. i got them all correct and im so proud of myself! hehes. hey, i can read well okay! :D

then home sweet home! i had 2 weird encounters on the way home. firstly, while i was switching on my iPod for some music, i looked out of the window and saw this group of 18-20 years old boys waving and smiling at me like as if they know me or something. i stared at them as the bus drive passed them. next, when i reached my stop, i alighted and this 18-20 years old boy smiled at me too. like hello? whats the special day today that everybody's smiling at me?

texted baby a thankyou message for the books he spent on me today. he replied, "I love you forever babe. Anything for you i will do." it brought a smile on my face. (:

i want bliss, i feel bliss and i am bliss with him. im thankful for each and everyday.

i hate rainy days!

damn, its pouring heavily outside now and this is what thats stopping me to meet my baby! P.S. baby's off work today cus he's lazy to go to work. =X i totally freakingly hate rainy days!!! im a sunshine person, totally and absolutely.

anyway, baby and i were out to town on saturday. found my much anticipated high waist pants but unfortunately, they all dont look nice on me. met xin lun kor kor at wisma. it definitely was a surprise cus i could see the so-surprised-to-see-you-here expression on his face. LOL.

all the pubs were filled with football clubs fans. the reason being? its the BIG match for that night!!! Man United versus Liverpool. and of course, baby joined in for the scores. wells, baby was so disappointed with the end results. LOL. and i said to him, "you better dont go outside, cus those people are obviously liverpool fans and you'll be beaten by them if they know you are a man united fan." baby laughed. LOL. seriously, balcony was full of liverpool fans cheering for their victory.

enough of all this football talk. LOL. baby so much wanted to watch that goddamn scary show, coming soon which i dont wanna watch cus im afraid. but wells, i gave in. we watched that show and i was so uptight throughout the show. my eyes were half-closed with the help of my hands covering up. LOL. anyway, the show's pretty short but its scary right from the start till the end. they didnt even let you have a chance to catch some breath. i just hate scary shows please!

met baby at yishun on sunday. i finally saw all the 4 series of twilight storybooks! got kinda excited for a moment and i thought i was gonna buy all 4 at one go but baby was kinda shocked at my reaction and the next moment, i hesitated again. baby volunteered to get them for me but i somehow just walked away. its a waste of money cus i know i wont touch them after i finished reading them.

thus, we decided to catch a movie, 'race to witch mountain'. its a family show but wells i'd only rate it an average movie. after movie, home sweet home!

back to work today and im done with everything. im on course tomorrow. hate it!

im back from my short trip! :D oh wells, sometimes i kinda think that going to the same place again and again serves no purpose cus im bored with KL. =X as usual, same old places and same old shopping malls. but wells, i had fun with baby. :) this time round, we stayed at a different hotel.

baby set the alarm for us to wake up at 830am for our free buffet breakfast and we lazed around in bed for half an hour before we really got up at 9am.
