i had a weird encounter with this weird guy on the bus this morning. i was sitting down and he was standing at the side. he just cant stop staring at me all the while before i alighted. i didnt know till i turn to his side and saw him. and then when everybody else alighted at one of the stops, he walked towards me and sat down beside me even thou there's seats behind. and he just cant stop looking at me making me so uncomfortable. he didnt even wanna budge when i wanted to alight until i had to really tell him i need to alight. wth? zZz.
anyway, i had a half day off today cus its our pre celebration for teachers' day which falls on next monday, the school holidays.
party with my 2 classes and i received bags of gifts from those children. when i browse through those gifts i received, it really warmth my heart. its really not the gifts that count, its the thoughts. let me share some interesting ones that really touched me.

well, the above 2 really touched me especially izzat's message. dont you think its so cute to actually tell me "i sayang you"? he's really one of the boys who improved tremendously after all these months. and he loves me so much that when i fell sick for a week and couldnt make it to school, he practically jumped up screaming my name when he saw me back at school. :) its really like seeing him grow and seeing him getting better everyday. i love teaching! it gives me the satisfaction that other jobs cant give me.
and jun ming's mom bought me a body lotion set and a mickey mouse soft toy and still provided me with plastic bag to bring home cus its wrapped up in such a big packet. i really appreciate it a lot and i had no idea why the mom knows i like mickey mouse. LOL. what else did i received? tons of cute lil flowers, chocolates, pens, cards and ornaments. and do you know which are my favourites? i like those with messages written by my children especially for me. as a typical piscean, i like small lil gifts or even messages or cards that show how much they appreciate my effort and all. :)
im beginning to appreciate and love my K2C more now cus they're really so sporting and i've good rapport with the class. maybe i should say i have good rapport with all my kids. yes, no doubt that im a very strict teacher but when it comes to having fun and playing, i can play hard too thats why they love me so much. im so worried that i might just cry during their graduation day. its only 2 more months left before they graduate.
you can never understand the satisfaction of being a teacher when at the end of the day, you see your children growing and improving day by day and become what they are all cus of you. never underestimate a teacher's influence. :)
too bad there's no photos today cus my phone is spoilt. im gonna get a new phone soon.
all the teachers had a big feast after work and i stayed back to chit-chat with mrs leong, freeling and karthi. talked about tons and tons of things. freeling is going on a holiday to perth tomorrow! i wish i can go. anyway, karthi actually envied me for having a boyfriend. she thought im single until freeling blabbered everything to her today. karthi is a nice girl and i really empathize with her when i got to know about her life story. i hope she'll find her love soon. i said i'll introduce any indian guy friends that i know to her. HAHAS. :D
packed up my bags of gifts and went off at 3. there's a teachers' day lunch at chevron tomorrow, hosted by MP. we'll be receiving robinsons' vouchers as gifts.
lastly, its the school holidays! :D

happie 83rd birthday popo!
this weekend was good! last night was my dearest popo's birthday dinner. everyone's present except for li shan jie jie. i supposed she's on flight. and omg, that restaurant was good! good place, good ambience and most importantly, there's karaoke in the room!
so, we sing, sang and sung. was shocked at how well my cousins could actually sing. to sum it all, we've quite a number of good singers in our family. hahas. didnt really eat much cus we were busy singing and cam-whoring. LOL!
gave popo the first ever angbao in my life and i could see the shocked expression from her face. yeah, im working already so its only right that i gave her a token of my appreciation of her good care for me when im young. :) enough said. pictures time!

after dinner, hitched a ride together with jason kor kor in xiao Q's car to the mrt station. took the mrt together with jason kor kor. talked a lot on the train. i was surprised at some things that he told me and he sayang-ed me before i went off. i knew i could really count on him if i ever meet with any problems with my family. :) he's just like a big brother who cares a lot about his younger cousins.
well, no matter what happens in my family, i still love my family loads, each and everyone. :)
met baby at yishun. he waited for me for the whole day and had his late dinner at burger king.

after his late dinner, we went up for our show, 4bia. the show consists of 4 short horror stories but its not that nice to me. baby kept saying non-stop about how i got him excited when i grabbed on to him and jumped up during the scary scenes. LOL!
cabbed home after that. really had an enjoyable night with my family and baby. :D
its our 26th monthsary today! :D baby went to his friend's wedding in the afternoon before meeting me at amk hub. its raining damn heavily and damn, i totally hate rainy days. shopped around and got myself a pair of flats that's retro which is not enough! i want more shoes!
had our dinner at KFC and we headed to the cinema for our show, hunting party. the show is all about war and it really bores me out yet baby likes it. home sweet home after movie. i love my sweetie baby loads!

my old lil popo
yesterday baby came to fetch me to town. he's so sweet and lovely to me and said lotsa things to me. =) roamed around town, had dinner at thai express, ice cream at gelare and watched 'meet dave'. we both thought the show is not really that nice and true enough, its not that funny and baby actually slept like pig throughout the show. LOL! saw a pair of golden slippers from dmk, it looked nice on me and im very tempted to buy it cus its gold in colour! but i didnt in the end cus i wanna buy shoes, no more slippers. and baby said he's gonna get me the new esprit bag, i was very indecisive on which colour to get and in the end, i decided on blue cus i've got a green bag and baby says yellow is not nice. oh wells, im very indecisive when it comes to decision making thats why i never like to make decisions. took the night rider home after our movie and lingered for sometime at my staircase. baby was funny. he kissed me goodbye for 4 times and turned back to me 4 times, just cus he cant bear to leave me. :)
its an early day for me to start with today cus mom woke me up early to go to mandai to see my ah gong. after that, we all headed to my popo house. its a must for me to visit my ah gong every year cus he took good care of me and doted on me like anything when im young, so its only right that i visit him every year.
anyway, i miss my popo! i've been so busy for the recent months that i never really visit her much. had a lil chat with her asking her how is she doing and she started telling me how one side of her eyes cant see anything, how her legs act up sometimes in the middle of the night and how useless an old person is. and she actually remembered everyone's birthday in my family. she said im finally turning 21 next year and finally see me growing up into an adult from the small lil girl that she took care of last time. time flies indeed. i really miss those childhood days staying in my popo house together with ah gong. carefree and happie, i dont have to worry about anything cus i know my grandparents will be there to take care of everything.
popo was so cute. she said i havent had the chance to go up to her room and look at her beautiful room, so she insisted on bringing me up to look at her room. i held onto her arm and followed her up to her room and take a look. silly popo. as long as she's happie, im happie too. :)
next saturday is popo's birthday celebration! i'll definitely give her a big ang bao! she's indeed old now and its time i repay her for taking care of me all those years. its time i take care of her now. on a side note, the restaurant that uncle booked has karaoke! :D singing time! woohoo!
im waiting to meet my baby later. till then!

national day celebration
i have half day off work today! its the national day celebration in school. the kids had fun waving their flags, swaying along with the songs and so on. everybody wore red and white including the teachers. we all looked so patriotic today. LOL! and indeed my patriotic red and white outfit invited stares from people.
but teachers didnt had fun cus we had a meeting after work. i really hate to be a teacher sometimes cus really, you'll get involved in politics no matter what. we're gonna have a meeting with our MP sometime in october, the PAP officer is coming down, we need to finish up our checklists, evaluations of lesson plans and do up our classrooms and so on. i need to finish everything by next week! i brought home my lesson plans today and its really a big stack of papers waiting for me to evaluate my lessons. gosh, im feeing the pressure now. i only like to teach, just purely the teaching part. i hate all these miscellaneous stuffs.
with work aside, met up with baby for the past few days. he made me listen to some old love songs a few days back and after i get home, i cant help but to dig out my westlife albums and listen to their songs once again. LOL! its all under his influence. and oh, we game shared with our PSPs yesterday. we played a tennis match and obviously i lost to him. im never good in games if you wonder. i just find that the PSP controller so hard to control. but im better in games when im young. i used to go to my popo house and challenged street fighter against xin lun kor kor every sunday. thats all in the past, all the good old childhood days. can i have them back?
and i already found out what surprise did baby prepared for me this month. he bought me the MTV jacket for girls. its a couple wear. so now, he have his and i have mine.
i need a break off from work, my hectic work. and before i go and start chiong-ing my work, HAPPY NATIONAL DAY! :D

too princessy
baby's back and i was sick for a week or so. had high fever that just wouldnt subside for 2 days followed by giddiness for the next few days. recovered and went back to work last wednesday. damn, i hate relief teachers. i dont like others to relief my classes cus they tend to mess up my stuffs and do a sloppy job out of teaching my kids. i even told my boss that i dont like others to teach my classes, if i want to teach, i'll do it myself cus only i know it myself that i'll do a proper job in teaching my kids. but wells, times like falling sick cant be avoided so i got no choice.
anyway, baby had OT from tuesday to thursday, so i only met him on friday. accompanied him to vivo to get his MTV jacket. went into forever21 and saw so many floral tops. went into zara and baby cant stop telling me about his job, this and that about fashion line, blablabla. LOL! its been like super long since i really went shopping. i've been so busy dating, so busy with work and so busy with falling sick that i dont even have time to do some retail therapy. i wanna buy new shoes and new bags! baby said he's gonna give me a surprise every month, he gave me one last month and so, im awaiting for this month's surprise. :D had dinner at KFC and he played with his PSP for sometime. home sweet home. baby's very tired and me too.
yesterday, accompanied him to cut his hair at the same salon. and the funny thing is we've been there 3 times and we'll be sitting at the same seat, same place everytime. i'll always be sitting beside baby, browsing through magazines while waiting for him to have his haircut. and its the same old hairdresser who served him. baby said the hairdresser asked him, why didnt i join him to cut my hair there. oh wells, my hair is one of the most important thing in my appearance, so i dont take the risk of changing my hairdresser. i always go to my same old hairdresser cus she knows me well and i trust her skills.
after haircut, hanged around at yishun. had our dinner at the coffeeshop and chilled at burger king while waiting for our movie. watched 'the mummy' and i would only give it an average rating. home sweet home. reached home and my brother bought PSP. of course, its a shared one between the 2 of us. i asked him to buy the white one so we've got a white one. i dont really like PSP. i want a nitendo but my brother just dont wanna get it. nitendo is more feminine and fun in my opinion. its more suitable for me. :) anybody wanna get it for me? 21st birthday present. LOL! so anyway, played with it for awhile before i fell asleep.
